What did you love to do as a child? Take this moment to think back to the simple things you used to enjoy.
Maybe it was Saturday morning cartoons with your favorite cereal. Maybe it was lying in the grass on a sunny day searching for images in the clouds, or hunting for four-leaf clovers. Or skipping stones. Or scuffing through fallen leaves. Or jumping in puddles. Or sipping hot cocoa. Or licking an ice cream cone. Or snuggling with your pet. Or walking on train tracks...
It doesn't matter what kind of memory you conjure up, or which activities you enjoyed most. The key component is the energy with which you approach an experience. When kids do something, they are all in--they are masters at embracing the present moment with all they have--their focus, their passion, and their delight. So, feeding your inner child is all about finding something you love and letting it wash over you--letting it fill you fully--even if you only do it for a few minutes.
So...what will you do to feed your inner child today?
